After over 25 years as an Executive Chef, I retired and began pursuing an education in professional photography which has always been my passion.

I carry this thought with me whenever I am creating photographs. From the composition of the subject to lighting, photographing, post-processing, and final printing, I carry my vision through the entire process of creation. After a long and successful career, I retired and attended college for Professional Photography being mindful to carry forward the artistic and aesthetic eye I developed as a top culinarian in my field.

I am well versed in all genres of photography, from high fashion to landscape I bring my colorful and compositionally sound style to every photographic experience. Be it large format film or digital, corporate, product, or studio portrait photography I possess all the tools needed to accomplish my client’s artistic vision.

I am proud to be the owner of The Optical Alchemist Photography and Print Studio located in the beautiful Cottonwood Center for The Arts in Colorado Springs Colorado and can also provide any photographic printing a client may need at a quality that is hard to match.
